Terms of Service

Effective date: August 9, 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of FixQueue, available at fixqueue.app. By creating an account or using the service you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy, which describes how we handle your data.

The service

FixQueue is a maintenance request tracker for landlords. Tenants submit maintenance requests (including descriptions, photos, and contact details), and landlords track those requests through to completion, with email and SMS notifications along the way. FixQueue is a communication and tracking tool; we do not perform, guarantee, or supervise any repairs or maintenance work.

Accounts

You must provide accurate account information and keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us at hello@fixqueue.app.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

Subscription, billing, and cancellation

Tenant-submitted content

Tenants may submit content to the service, including request descriptions, photos, and contact information. The landlord account holder is responsible for how they use tenant-submitted content and for complying with applicable laws in their communications with tenants. You retain ownership of content submitted to the service; you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display it solely to provide the service. We may remove content that violates these Terms.

SMS notifications

FixQueue sends transactional SMS (new request alerts, status changes, and appointment scheduling) to users who have opted in via an explicit checkbox. Consent to receive SMS is not a condition of purchase. Message and data rates may apply, and message frequency varies. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help. See our Privacy Policy for full details on our SMS program and how mobile information is handled.

Disclaimer of warranties

The service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that notifications (including email and SMS) will be delivered without delay or failure.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, FixQueue will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenues, or data, arising out of or related to your use of the service. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
